How long does it take to set up a new OTT platform?
Setting up an end-to-end OTT platform typically takes 6-12 weeks, depending on the devices you wish to support.
How do I operate the platform?
The whole Mangomolo platform is managed from the Mangomolo dashboard. It is an intuitive, multilanguage interface that can be customised for different users based on users’ roles.
Mangomolo provides on-boarding and on-going training to unaccustomed users so that they familiarise themselves with the platform quickly and conveniently. In addition, there is a vast library online of user guides and videos to assist with any information required.
How do I upload my content to Mangomolo?
You can upload content through various methods:
1. Direct manual upload via the Mangomolo Dashboard or Desktop Uploader.
2. Import from platforms like YouTube, Dropbox, SoundCloud, Aspera, S3, or any object storage repository.
3. Integration with your on-premise/off-premise MAM software or storage repository.
4. Live to VOD auto-record.
5. DVR ingest through our MangoClipper, allowing you to clip content from your linear feed.
6. Integration with an FTP/SFTP repository.
What is the Mangomolo support SLA?
We offer 24/7/365 support with a 15-minute Service Level Agreement (SLA) to ensure your platform operates smoothly.

How is the Mangomolo platform solution deployed?
The Mangomolo Deployment approach is hybrid and allows ultimate flexibility for different deployment configurations. The platform can be deployed in different clusters with different providers, on premises, or it can be hosted entirely in the Mangomolo Cloud.
In the case where customer’s would need to comply with data sovereignty law, the user data can be hosted with providers within the customers country, while other resources, heavy processes, and workflows, can be hosted in the cloud for cost optimisation.
What are the security features of the platform?
As part of our commitment to provide a secure end-to-end OTT product to our customers, Mangomolo works restlessly to make sure that all our solutions are developed, delivered, and maintained as per Global Best Practices in terms of security.
The Mangomolo platform is also subject to regular security audits by independent third parties to make sure that any vulnerabilities are tracked and addressed.
In addition to our regular and scheduled security and penetration testing audits, we rely on 3rd party tools such as Sonar, Pentest Tools, Vega, and others to identify any vulnerabilities and address them.
How does Mangomolo provide protection for the content?
Mangomolo takes all the necessary steps to ensure that end users cannot pirate the streams and on demand content.
Some of the security measures are URL tokenisation, AES Encryption and Digital Rights Management (Fairplay, Widevine, Playready).
The optional offline viewership module only allows the users to download audio or video tracks from the on-demand library into the app, where the videos are encrypted to avoid 3rd party piracy. The videos are stored within the application and decrypted when the user wishes to view them.
Additionally, the apps can be provided with screen recording prevention.
Can the platform scale automatically to accommodate an increasing number of users and services?
The entire Mangomolo Platform, Database, and API Layer are hosted on a Cloud infrastructure with auto-scaling capabilities.
All the different components can scale up and down depending on the load with a load balanced architecture that can identify peak times as they happen and trigger an increase or decrease in the resources assigned to specific operations as they happen.
This approach allows us to handle a huge amount of traffic to our environment and to accommodate any number of concurrent viewers without service disruption.
Is there a limitation on the quality of the content?
We support a wide range of quality profiles, up to 4K, for both live and on-demand content.
Does Mangomolo comply with privacy policies?
Mangomolo strictly adheres to secure data, and the platform is compliant with all data protection laws that apply to our business, including but not limited to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
In addition, we can integrate with any Consent Management Platforms, provided there are clearly defined APIs by the third party along with proper documentation.

What is the Mangomolo business model?
We operate on a SaaS licensing basis, offering the Mangomolo platform along with a suite of 30+ optional modules to suit your needs.
How can I monetise my OTT platform/content?
Mangomolo offers multiple monetisation models, including Advertising (AVOD), Subscription (SVOD), and Pay Per View/Transactional (TVOD). Mangomolo also supports hybrid monetisation that allows the combination of any of the previous models to cater to your content and audience.
Our AVOD (Advertising) Module allows you to easily integrate with any 3rd party ad serving platform such as Google DFP or similar or you can alternatively use the local ad serving solution within Mangomolo to traffic your AD Campaigns.
Our SVOD (Subscription) Module allows you to integrate your OTT Platform with any payment gateway and offer different subscription business models for users to subscribe and have access to all or select content on your platform. We also provide Carrier / Operator Billing Integration.
Our TVOD (Transactional / Pay Per View) Module allows you to define different business models based on a Pay Per View Approach where you can assign different transactional rates to different content.
